Hi – Great to be here. Been ill with CFS/ME for 24 years. Been doing the Gupta Prog since December. It helps but it is slow going. Could do with some support. I have found your Experience Peace technique really great and that’s ow I have come to sign up.
I am so glad to have you as part of our community, Judith! I saw you also signed up for the Online Self-Care Hour. Look forward to sharing your healing journey with you.
I have just joined up, the fact you are doing this for free is very kind. I have m.e and fibromyalgia and am living in a horrid existence. Dizziness, fatigue, muscle pain etc are unbearable. Iv’e tried so many things it’s unreal and am still no better but I guess you have to keep trying new things. Thankyou, I look forward to the e mails.
Thank you for your kind words, Tim. I pray that you will find something that works for you. The e-course will show you how to find the treatments that are best for you. Yes, don’t give up!
Hoping for recovery
Thank you for the info, I was reading about exercise which I really struggle with, my exercise heart rate of 220-49×0.6 = 104
My resting heart rate is around 95, i don’t have to try too hard to get up to 110, what exercise would you suggest?
Thanks
Hi Pauline,
I am not an exercise physiologist, so I can’t give personal recommendations. I know that these guys work with physiologists who specialize in CFS, so you might contact them and see if they can give you advice: http://www.nova.edu/nim/clinic/index.html
In your situation, I would start with slow short walks and see if you can keep your heart-rate below 104 or close to it. Once you can handle those short walks without crashing, I would slowly increase the length of your walk, as described in my lesson on exercise:

Good luck!
